Is 2012 the real end of our World...???

Some time ago, i got interested in the end of the world. Er, what i mean to say is "I wanted to know what exactly the hoax spread during my school times that 2012 would be our last year on earth". Really widespread that even NASA released some press releases that 2012 is not the end of the year. Some media people even preached that 2012 the end of the world is little bit late and is postponed towards the end of the 21st century and so on., many stories and silly humors, etc etc etc., . So I was really interested in knowing what these things are and went to one of my friend's home where I can browse about these things through the internet. At that time i was aw-struck to read from a website that stated 'periodically some angels of God came to Earth to visit us and make the things in the Earth CLEAN. They wander in some planets which are not under any solar system control. they were called "Annunakis"[link here] (about which you can even search in WIKIPEDIA and also Google it)'. After this I just went to search about other possibilities Earth could be destroyed or how end of the Earth is predicted like that and just went on....

Now come back from the past. that happened really 4 years before. Today when i was just skimming the newspaper(for sure i didn't read the paper) in the morning. suddenly i saw this article[link here]. I was just aw-struck to read this article that stated "Nomad Planets Wandering In Milky Way"(our Galaxy). Why? Just because the article which i had studied about the "Annunakis" flashed in my mind. I really got terrified to know about this. and many connections i could make. Some of them are : 1. Annunakis traveled in the wandering planets which the researchers have found now that many wandering planets are there in our Galaxy system. 2.What i really thought after getting to know about this was, "those are just a HOAX". but now i really felt that there may be some possibility of such a planet in existence with Annunakis in it.(purely its my thinking about the existence). After all these cross - thoughts, I just started to google about this. but now there are many websites illustrating these things even some hosted animation too. Right now i really think very weird about this. But i too have a doubt, "will the Earth would END at 21-12-2012..??".

Tie of the TIE

Both teams scored same runs.
Both teams lost same number of wickets.
Both teams played same number of overs.
Both teams have same extras of 8 runs.
Both teams hit 15 fours and 2 Sixes.

This is the “tie” of “tie”

but India played 1 ball less than sri lanka in 30th over ;)

GATE Exam! :D

Valentine's Day wishes to all readers! :)
Well well... I am stopping with the greeting. (Excuse me from that topic! :D )
GATE exam happened on February 12th (Offline exams) this year and it seems there's a record 7.8 lakh people took GATE this year! Quite a phenomenal number that! Much of the number is due to the consideration of GATE score for recruitment in public sector companies. Not all people want to do the so-called (and of course, dreaded) 'higher studies'! :)
B.Tech itself was cumbersome! No need to say anything about M.Tech! 2 more years of the same branch??? No way!
I also wrote GATE. No kidding, Yes, I really wrote.
I went to the Exam Centre armed with 2 Black pens, 2 Blue pens, a pencil, a calculator and an eraser. For ID proof, my college Id. Of course, my mobile phone too! THAT WAS ALL! I was really amazed to see so much people preparing even at 8.30 AM (the exam starts at 9AM)! Some of them had come with parents. They had food and water bottles for their 'children' - I wondered if they were going for a wrestling match! :D
Embarrassing, anyway, I walked straight up and found out my exam hall. One good thing about being a chess player is that, we find a chess player wherever we go. (Atleast one person! No escape!) Here too, I found my friend Haribalu eagerly checking the notice board!
Coming to the main part, I went to my exam hall at around 8.45 AM. As a surprise, the invigilator was also known to me - she was a chess player's mother!
"Wherever we go, I don't know if Hutch and Vodafone follow; definitely Chess follows!"
As bad luck (or good luck) would have it, I was seated in the very first bench! Oh my god, the very thought of she looking at my answering made me laugh inside! I knew very well... I could answer only the last ten questions. (We prepared in VIT two days back with a GATE mock question paper. Nothing much to say, the mock paper humbled me! :D)
One bad thing about GATE exam compared to SRM Semester exams is that, we cannot leave the hall until the exam gets over. This meant that I had to sit in the same place for 3 hours...
1st 30 minutes - I solved the aptitude and English questions - fairly easy.
I looked at my watch - 9.30 AM :( 150 minutes remained... Fate - cell phones are not allowed. My thoughts went to VIT where the South Zone Inter Universities was still going on. This is the worst thing that happened in the exam hall, I will tell you why - I dozed off at 9.40! Due to 4 years of sleeping experience in SRM, I knew perfectly how to sleep in a classroom but this was different. Unconsciously, I shaded another bubble with 'black ink ball point pen' (this was the only color allowed in GATE)! To my horror, I found that I had already answered that question!
"தூக்கம் கலைந்தது!" (I woke up!)
"The forehead-sweating feeling when you wake up suddenly after a sleep-in-sitting-position is very annoying! You get scared if something has gone wrong - you look around to see if someone caught you sleeping; look what others are doing and later... realize that everything is fine!"
The instructions in GATE paper read something like this ... "Use only black ink ball point pen since it cannot be erased. Hence the candidate must shade the bubbles carefully"
Yeah... Right! They cannot be erased I thought. Then my thoughts went back to something I read when I was young... er... a school-goer!
"In the confrontation between the stream and the rock, the stream always wins...
Not through strength, but through persistence!"
What an Idea! :)

I took out the eraser and started erasing. Initially it did not make any difference. I looked at my watch. "Hell with it, I said to myself. I will keep erasing - I have so much time all the same"! I continued erasing. After ten minutes, some part of the bubble disappeared. And with it, some portion of the top layer of the extra thick ORS sheet. (The usual shading sheet, nothing alien). I continued with the most productive work I did in the exam. After 25 minutes, the whole bubble was erased. I was very very happy at what I had done. Now the question had only one answer. (The IIT people got it wrong - it can be erased! Yaar kitta!!! Tamizhan da!)
Thoroughly elated at my endeavour, I finally gained some motivation to read the technical questions. And how well I did, I managed to answer a few questions and make some intelligent guesses for the others. I also mustered enough tolerance to stop myself from shading answers for all questions - there is negative marking in GATE! I had answered 49 questions out of 65!
And then I answered two more. I crossed 50 and kept my answer count at 51!
There was still some 30 minutes left and I had to sit idle. There was nothing else left for me to do. The other questions were unanswerable to my standards. My knowledge in CS & IT is very limited. As one significant person enlightened me recently, I just "Did what made me happy and left the rest to God!"

p.s. These stunts are performed by professionals. Don't try this in any competitive exam! Prepare in advance!

Phir melinge!

Semester 8 Aftermath!

Hi all!
Wishing you a Happy New Year 2012!
This is my first post this year, I guess, so, there's no harm in wishing late! Better late than never, they say! :)
And to all those who are not from SRM and other elderly people, I have finished my last semester exams. You can call me 'Engineer' now...! Just project work remains. But for that, I am almost done. Well, ALMOST!

These are really tricky times, REALLY bizarre periods! Life goes so smooth till you suddenly end up with these bloated times which are in such stark contrast with the times you were experiencing for the past three-and-a-half years or so.
Placements - done!
Exams - done!
Project - will be done!
Higher studies - not yet decided! This is not the time to decide. Let results come!
Farewell - done!
What else is left in our college life?
I am not reviling the finishing of semester 8 exams. People just get confused what to do!
I asked my friend... "What are you going to do this month?" He said, "I can play games! Mother can't stop me from anything now! No one can question me!" "Fair enough" I thought. Can't blame him. Lamentations of a beautiful mind!

I can't do that, I am not him. I inquired another one. "There's no way I am studying more! B.Tech was just possible; can't do more!" Yeah Yeah... Of course! It was tough! Can't damn him either. Well done mate!

Life's not that tough for SRMites who got placed in Accenture. They have some odd four-lettered program (HSIP / HSFP I am not sure, who cares?) starting soon. "The American mindset cannot change! They never paid a penny for conducting classes in SRM!"

I asked a girl this time. She said "I don't know. I am placed. But not sure if I will join..." Well well, they can SIT at home. That's an additional option they have. They don't get the bread after all! They have all the time in the world. The queer difference is that, this is an OPTION for them. For boys, this isn't! (I know I know...)

Some people have already applied and achieved MS seats. Fortunate people, they can take rest for some four months without the slightest feeling of guilt! They deserve it after all!

Some wrote CAT, only to see CAT pounce on them like the shrill TIGER! They are still there! Bad rememberings for some!

Whatever it is, some people cannot study Computer Science any more (This may include me... sometime)! Still, we become anaemic you see! It's hard to put time to good use at all times!
Most of the time, we sit in front of the computer with austere faces thinking what to do. Mostly facebook, gmail, FIFA, that's all! We easily become loungers in the afternoons! Text someone, no replies. So... sleep! Wake up in the evenings, tea or coffee or Milo. Come back to computer again. Sleep. Dinner. Sleep. Oh yeah 24 hours... See you tomorrow!

One odd morning, a friend calls and wants a get-together. Why not? That's the only exception to the routine we may get! And after that, the tape recorder plays again!

Don't think; feel, says Bruce Lee. True, just enjoy the moment! Don't think too much. Sing a song, watch a movie, play hard. After all, we pushed a mountain for four years in a row. I repeat, IN A ROW!

Long live engineers!
"One small extension after our names;
A giant leap for our lives!!!"

MGR ERA.....IS IT STILL???

MGR still lives in the heart of people... This is evident from the fact that his birthday is celebrated even in the present date with much grandeur and offerings to the needy people by his fans and fan clubs. Its known to all that he is the un-disputed and un-crowned king of the people's rule of his age. Still that type of rule in which people had more faith and power in the government is not been established yet. One should also remember that today is the birthday of the real superstar who is born on 17/01/1917 .
Still he rules the people's heart and that is evident in the ADMK party's election canvas time. The main thing ADMK had promised to the people was that to establish a rule as like MGR. I could also notice in many areas today that his birthday is being celebrated like the famous festival. The people from all the creeds of the city celebrated by distributing sweets the passers- by, tied his photo printed plastic garlands around the streets where they reside, and in some places there were annadhanams(free food) to the poor people. Also one should note another interesting factor. Its the fan clubs which were established at his times is functioning still in every part of Tamil Nadu to do these jobs. This was evident when there was re-releases of his yester-year films in the chennai multiplexes which was booked to house full shows for around a week. This appears to be an unachieveable and impossible target for today's modern day heroes. Exactly a month before Rajnikanth birthday was celebrated but not even at this scale. I can also say that no other actor in tamil nadu enjoys such a grandeur even after his death more than 20years back. MGR is truly a people's actor and deity who lives in the people's heart in Tamil Nadu. Such a love will always perish and make him to live much more in the heart's of the people even after many more years to come.
Recently i came across an article in newspaper that the newly formed Government's Cabinet Ministers were having ring tones and caller tunes from MGR's yester-year hit films and they say its their turn to show their respect and rememberance to the ADMK party's founder. His film CD's are also a hit in the market. This makes us to come to a conclusion that he is remembered and respected by every man who adored his acting - On screen performance and his ruling style - Off the stage and screen.

These are the photos i took while i travelled to and from the college... so couldn't remember what place it is:)

This song "Thaayillaamal Naanillai", highligting Mother's dignity, specially for Makkal Thilagam, from the movie "ADIMAI PENN" written by Kavignar Vaali and the music scored by Thirai Isai Thilagam K.V.Mahadevan and sung by T.M.Soundararajan is dedicated to our Makkal Thilagam in the eve of His 95th Birth Anniversary.

Awesome Sites About Old School Cartoons

With the advent of Pixar and other computer generated animation studios, the art of ink-and-paper animation is quickly becoming a relic. For generations of kids, however, these cartoons were a Saturday morning ritual that couldn’t be skipped. Each decade came with its own specific style of cartoon, from the animal antics of early Disney to the superhero craze of the 1980′s.  If you’re feeling nostalgic, here are ten great sites dedicated to the cartoons we all grew up with.

Credit: Disney

  1. Old-Cartoons.Com – Few sites can rival the exhaustive resources of this site; links to related shopping, background information and video clips from hundreds of old school animated series place Old-Cartoons.Com at the top of the heap.
  2. RetroStatic.Com – Not just limited to the cartoons intros we knew and loved in the 80′s and 90′s, RetroStatic.com is also home to rare commercials and a discussion forum.
  3. 80sCartoons.Net – The mission statement of 80sCartoons states that, “Our objective is to archive cartoon information-television series, specials, animated films, straight-to-video cartoons-everything created in the 80′s.”
  4. TheGreat70s.com – Each click of the “Watch Another Cartoon” button randomly generates a new clip to the embedded Hulu.Com link, keeping users guessing about which ‘toon they’ll see next.
  5. Cartoon-Factory.Com – Interested in collecting cels from your favorite vintage cartoons? Cartoon Factory should top your list, as it’s the largest selection on the web. Thorough explanations of animation terms, tips on caring for your valuable investments and appraisal services can all be found here.
  6. HBShows.com – Dedicated to everything Hanna Barbera, HBShows houses a database of cartoons and interesting facts about the dozens of classic Hanna Barbera titles.
  7. CartoonBrew.Com – Detailing the animation industry from its infancy to today’s trends, Cartoon Brew is sure to be a favorite among animation aficionados.
  8. BCBD.Com – The Big Cartoon Database also ranks among the online heavyweights in the classic animation department, with a directory that lists several thousand titles. Sections are broken down by studio, making the site a browsing dream. Among the offerings are gems from Fleischer Studios, the early-era Disney rival behind classics such as Betty Boop, Popeye the Sailor and Gabby. Prepare to spend hours perusing the links, because BCDB is definitely addictive.
  9. KidsWB.Com – This Warner Brothers site offers a ton of streaming Looney Tunes and other vintage WB titles for your nostalgic enjoyment, including a dedicated section for fans of the various incarnations of Scooby-Doo and his cohorts.
  10. YouTube.Com – While certainly not limited to cartoons, this video sharing giant has enough vintage cartoon episodes to keep viewers entertained for hours. A simple search of your favorite retro title will net dozens of results. Suggestions can often remind you of titles long-forgotten, rekindling Saturday morning memories.
In addition to these sites, there are scores of discussion forum communities, blogs and micro-blogs with an emphasis on the animation of years gone by. While I personally prefer www.cartoon-online.com where you could find many cartoons which were telecasted in our childhood :) Valuable sources for emerging sites and links to memorabilia marketplaces, these communities are a must-visit for the true cartoon connoisseur.

Men and Women!

New Year Greetings to all our friends!
Going with the topic, don't expect a detailed essay on this controversial topic. What I am going to share with you here is a funny take on the subtle differences between men and women by Jerry Seinfeld, the genial comedian from the United States. Got to agree, see one of his episodes and you will become his fan!

"I swear, I have absolutely no idea what women are thinking. I don't get it, okay? I I I admit, I, I'm not getting the signals. I am not getting it! Women, they're so subtle, their little everything they do is subtle. Men are not subtle, we are obvious. Women know what men want, men know what men want, what do we want? We want women, that's it! It's the only thing we know for sure, it really is. We want women. How do we get them? Oh, we don't know 'bout that, we don't know. The next step after that we have no idea. This is why you see men honking car-horns, yelling from construction sites. These are the best ideas we've had so far. The car-horn honk, is that a beauty? Have you seen men doing this? What is this? The man is in the car, the woman walks by the front of the car, he honks. E-eeehh, eehhh, eehhh! This man is out of ideas. How does it? E-e-e-eeeehhhh! "I don't think she likes me." The amazing thing is, that we still get women, don't we? Men, I mean, men are with women. You see men with women. How are men getting women, many people wonder. Let me tell you a little bit about our organization. Wherever women are, we have a man working on the situation right now. Now, he may not be our best man, okay, we have a lot of areas to cover, but someone from our staff is on the scene. That's why, I think, men get frustrated, when we see women reading articles, like "Where to meet men?" We're here, we are everywhere. We're honking our horns to serve you better."

Until next time,
Enjoy the last week of 2011! :)

Placements @ SRM!

Hola! :)

Being in final year is big fun in itself! You come across a few things that are fairly new to you, except the fact that you know they 'exist' in 4th year! Yes - the placements!
You hear about them a lot, but there will surely be no one to tell you how it works, till you manage to the fourth (and hopefully final) year! I am here to tell you what happened so far (till 20/12/11) in SRM University!

Point Number One!
BUILD UP - We got  plenty of it! தாங்க முடியாது! PD Classes we heard "This is life! Get placed in the first company. Else it will be tough. The companies coming after TCS will know you are still unplaced... a ... b ... c ..."

Point Number Two!
THEY ' LL SCARE YOU TILL YOU SHIT YOUR PANTS - Yes, there's no escape in this! We will never know till you reach the December of the final year that there will at least be 25 companies coming to the campus, just for non-placed students!

Point Number Three!
GOT USED TO WEARING FORMALS (For boys only; Girls - you lucky _____!) - Even though we will look like Maths Teachers of yesteryears, that's what they want in interviews! Especially the Black shoes - I managed to fall down twice walking with them! Be careful கை புள்ள!!!
You cannot show up like this!

Point Number Four!
FOOD - We lost quite a few kilograms! In TCS placements, no faculty had told us we would be sitting till night! Why??? ஏன் இந்த கொலைவெறி மக்களே? You know very well we would be starving out there! Why couldn't you tell us before???

Point Number Five!
PLACED - It got over 'just like that'! Some times we have felt... "That's it?"

Point Number Six!
THEN COME THE CORE - After getting placed in IT companies, we have to sit for the core ones! People like Microsoft, Global Scholar, etc. come and we have to sit for all those!

So far, it was all normal to SRM! Let me share what will happen from now on... (Thanks to our batch!)

* Microsoft came in the last week of October. They said results would come not later than December '10. Results not yet published!
"இனி சென்னை பக்கமே வர மாட்டோம்!" - Microsoft அதிரடி பேட்டி! (Guess our answer sheets did the trick! We never asked for subjective aptitude! Your headache that! Now, publish our results!

* Some companies did not select even one student!
"இதற்கும் எங்களுக்கும் எந்த சம்மந்தமும் இல்லை! மாணவர்கள் சரமாரி!"

* "அடுத்த வருடம் TCS வருவதே சந்தேகம்! Juniorகள் நிலைமை கவலைக்கிடம்!"
(Reports have it that TCS took more people in Sastra University compared to SRM. See - confirmation!
MBA placements in SRM affected due to this!)

* "நாங்க தான் டா gethu! இனிமே எந்த company வருது பாப்போம்!" 2012 batch students terror interview!

* "நாங்க எழுதின எழுத்து அப்படி!" - last bench guys of CSE department

* Some company gave feedback "These people don't even know to write 'for' loop!" :D
"நான் கேட்டேனா?"

* Oracle வருது ன்னு சொன்னங்க! பயபுள்ள தப்பிச்சுட்டானுங்க!

* யார் holidays அ யார் கெடுக்கறது??? Mind it!

* "எங்க மானத்த காப்பாத்துங்க!" - பல்கலைக்கழக ஆசிரியர்கள் வேண்டுகோள்!

* "இது எதிர் கட்சி சதி!"... குமுறுகிறார்... (.)

p.s. (Disclaimer) This is just a funny report of the reality. SRM is actually good with many companies coming in! You will surely get a nice job, and if lucky, there's enough room to take your girlfriend to the same company! Plan accordingly! You can get dual placements - one in IT, one in core). SRM has it all! A wonderful campus placement record. Nothing to worry at all! :) SRM rocks - I stay with that!

The Mistaken Identity!

Hi all! :)
Before I start off, let me wish all the readers a very happy December - a season of holidays, celebration, music, Christmas and New Year! I love December a lot! It has something for everyone - kids get chocolates from Santa Claus, we get holidays, the old people definitely find great solace in music season, at least in Tamil Nadu!
Very recently, the whole word seemed to sing "Why this kolaveri di..." Can't help listening to that song - Well, I did listen... a five times perhaps. But that was all. It is really nice! Got to agree!
In fact, a tamil song creating waves all around the world is really a thing to celebrate for the people of Tamil language and other Tamilians! Some article read "Why this... giving a tough time for people like Lady Gaga..." Well, yeah, this is much better than her songs in any case!
There were millions of shares in facebook and other social networking sites. I even saw the song in UTV Bindaas - first time ever, a tamil song! (I have seen some retarded tamil ads in that channel, but first time a song!). To top it all, a WIKIPEDIA page!
All good, except the madness that was unfortunately associated with this song! "Proud to be Tamilian" some one wrote! Oh are you??? I never understood how this song represented TAMILIANS! Indeed, it doesn't represent Tamil Nadu either! It's just a random song with an interesting tune! That IS all! If you want to hear good tamil songs, look for somewhere else!
All said and done, I love this song too. But I am not listening it now. And I don't think anyone is listening it now either! That says the story...! I still have songs from 'Roja' in my phone. We never considered listening 'Kolaveri' in earphones!

கொதிப்புடன்,
அருண்கார்த்திக்!

THE HINDU

Hi guys,
I recently came across this 'nice' article in 'The Hindu' - our National newspaper! (No matter what 'sleeping' ad 'The Times of India' gives, South India will always buy THE HINDU! You morons!)

BE AN ANNOYING FLIGHT PASSENGER

You've paid for your flight ticket, so you have every right to utilise everything on board to the best of your ability. Too bad most flights these days don't pass around trays filled with candies. Luckily, this is an international flight and they are serving ice-cream, so grab two. And if the air hostess doesn't look amused, tell her: “I paid nearly Rs. 40,000 for the ticket, yaar !” Next up, the pretzels, peanuts and liquor are brought your way. Grab a beer, tune into your favourite entertainment channel, preferably a comedy show, noisily bite into those peanuts and guffaw loudly at what's on your screen. When dinner is served, opt for whatever your co-passenger isn't ordering. And when the food arrives, dig into his tray just to ‘sample' what it tastes like
The flight attendants are at your service, so keep hitting that button to get their attention. “Water,” “Wine,” “Newspaper”, “Warm water this time”... Obviously after all that liquid intake, you need to make frequent trips to the rest room. You've got the window seat and you've also got long legs. So, every time you get up and go, you end up kicking your co-passenger who politely requests you to trade seats with him. Stick your tongue out at him, and say: “I came early just to get the window seat. Better luck next time”
Alright, the cabin lights have been dimmed, and it's time to get some sleep. But, you have to finish watching almost all the in-flight entertainment available. What if you fell asleep, and didn't wake up till the flight was just about to land? So, while people try to nap, you continue munching on the snacks, clapping and laughing. And finally, when people are beginning to rise and shine, you must get some rest. Recline your seat as much as possible. So what if the passenger behind finds it difficult? Now lean back, rest your arms on the armrest even if it means dislodging your co-passenger's from there. Also ask him to turn off his reading light as it interferes with your sleep
Forty five minutes to reach your destination. You see people getting up to head to the rest room. Jump up and dart in with your tooth brush and face wash. Brush your teeth, wash and moisturise your face, comb your hair, change your clothes if you like. Take your time. The others can wait. They will have their turn too, right?
Time to disembark. You don't want to be stuck behind. Be the first one to get up even while the flight is still taxing, yank open the overhead locker, drag your luggage out and rush to the exit door. Then whip out your phone and frantically shout into it: ‘Landed, don't park the car... save on parking charges. I'll be there in half an hour. You keep driving around in circles, ok?”

Well suited for us! :D

Until next time,
Have fun! :) It's DECEMBER!!!

SASTRA University... So South!

The name says it all! I went to SASTRA University this year for the Colosseum'11 and I got to say 'Sastra rocks!' Being a student of SRM, we are so used to stuff like Fast foods, EMOs, Java Greens, freedom among other more obvious stuff. But Sastra is completely different. Being a Tamilian myself, I have longed to see 'tamil people' and eat 'tamil food' for a really long time now. Chennai DOES NOT represent Tamil Nadu these days. I hope many friends will agree with this view! Coming to the main thing, what makes Sastra tick?

Above everything, the KRISHNA Canteen rocks!

This is it!

Medical Benefits of Grapes

GRAPES are around 8,000 types of grapes available in this world. Even though there are many varieties of grapes, the most common types of grapes we encounter are black, purple and green grapes.

Posted Image

Black grapes have more medicinal values compared to purple and green grapes.

Posted Image

In western countries black grapes are used to prepare wine.If you, siblings or your life partner is weak, tired or stressed up, instead of consuming alcohol drinks, it is best to consume black grape juice.

How to make black grape juice?

Take 1 handful of black grapes.

Blend the fruit with water (optional)

Make sure you blend the seeds also.

Strain and leave for 4- 6 hours.

Serve to your husband or siblings.

This juice is good as,,,

a) it aids and increase digestion. Make sure you take one glass of black grape juice after your meal

b.) ease bowel motion

c) gives strength to small intestines

d) provides strength to children Grape seeds have many medicinal values.

The seeds are used to produce oil and have the healing nutrients to prevent cancer.

When serving grapes to your kids, make sure you remove the skin as their body system will not be able to digest the skins properly. As for adults, they should consume the skin, flesh and seeds.

This is the right way of eating grapes and the way to gain the fruits full nutritional values.Black grape juice will not cause dizziness. Instead it will calm the mind, promotes good sleep and gives vigorousness to men when they wake up in the morning.

Hence try to consume black grapes at least once in every fortnight...

Lonely Train Journeys!

Hi all! :)
Journeys in trains, especially long ones are usually fun. For chess players like me, it’s all the more fun since we almost always travel in groups. For this year’s Mangalore open, however, I was forced to travel alone by fate and this turned out to be interesting!
I had the side berth (Number 7) by some ill-fated reservation. Number 8 was absent I guess, turned out to be two chatter box women who came to sit. From Chennai to Katpadi, I could do nothing better than

Our Superstar is back

After spending over six weeks in Singapore for treatment of kidney-related ailments,The Only Superstar Rajinikanth is home again in Chennai.

The Superstar and his family touched down at Chennai Airport. Rajini's wife Latha and daughters Aishwarya Dhanush and Soundarya accompanied the superstar from Singapore.

After being discharged from hospital in Singapore on June 15, the superstar had stayed back to recuperate. The actor's son-in-law, Dhanush, had reassured fans, tweeting: "Superstar discharged from hospital. He has recovered completely and taking rest. Soon national award celebrations :) god bless"

Hours after being discharged from hospital in Singapore, the actor called Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, J Jayalalithaa. He congratulated the AIADMK chief on her massive victory in the state elections. He also told her he would return soon to India.

The next day Rajinikanth consoled DMK President M Karunanidhi about being voted out as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister. "You've seen many ups and downs. Don't worry about anything. Take care of your health," Rajinikanth is reported to have said.

Actual details of the superstar's return to Chennai were kept a secret for fear that fans would throng the airport. Though the actor's family remained tight-lipped about the star's return, airport sources said flight tickets had been blocked for him and family members for Wednesday in an international carrier.

Rajini had acknowledged in a recent letter to his fans that it was their prayers and love which saved him.

After suffering from exhaustion on April 29, the first day of the shoot of his period flick 'Rana', the actor was hospitalised twice. He was flown to Singapore in the last week of Mayfor treatment of reported kidney-related ailments.

While euphoric fans celebrate the Thalaivar's return, unconfirmed reports say the superstar will be back on the sets of Rana in the next two months.
