Is 2012 the real end of our World...???

Some time ago, i got interested in the end of the world. Er, what i mean to say is "I wanted to know what exactly the hoax spread during my school times that 2012 would be our last year on earth". Really widespread that even NASA released some press releases that 2012 is not the end of the year. Some media people even preached that 2012 the end of the world is little bit late and is postponed towards the end of the 21st century and so on., many stories and silly humors, etc etc etc., . So I was really interested in knowing what these things are and went to one of my friend's home where I can browse about these things through the internet. At that time i was aw-struck to read from a website that stated 'periodically some angels of God came to Earth to visit us and make the things in the Earth CLEAN. They wander in some planets which are not under any solar system control. they were called "Annunakis"[link here] (about which you can even search in WIKIPEDIA and also Google it)'. After this I just went to search about other possibilities Earth could be destroyed or how end of the Earth is predicted like that and just went on....

Now come back from the past. that happened really 4 years before. Today when i was just skimming the newspaper(for sure i didn't read the paper) in the morning. suddenly i saw this article[link here]. I was just aw-struck to read this article that stated "Nomad Planets Wandering In Milky Way"(our Galaxy). Why? Just because the article which i had studied about the "Annunakis" flashed in my mind. I really got terrified to know about this. and many connections i could make. Some of them are : 1. Annunakis traveled in the wandering planets which the researchers have found now that many wandering planets are there in our Galaxy system. 2.What i really thought after getting to know about this was, "those are just a HOAX". but now i really felt that there may be some possibility of such a planet in existence with Annunakis in it.(purely its my thinking about the existence). After all these cross - thoughts, I just started to google about this. but now there are many websites illustrating these things even some hosted animation too. Right now i really think very weird about this. But i too have a doubt, "will the Earth would END at 21-12-2012..??".

Australian's New Cricket Rules

Swamiye Saranam Aiyappa..!!!

Confused why i say this.. :) simple i have put "Maalai" for Sabarimalai.

ok now i'm gonna discuss about the controversial wicket-to-be of David Hussey who was not given 'out' in-spite of handling the ball during his run out chance thrown by Virat Kholi at MS Dhoni(in stumps) at the end of 24th over. I really got my memory down lane when Inzamam-Ul-Haq of Pakistan( A former Gigantic player with good records from pakistan National Cricket Team) was given out for the same in one of the games against India in the past. Immediately the commentators also mentioned the same in the commentary. what they said is Inzy was given OUT by the same umpire "Simon Taufel" in 2006 Peshawar Match against India when India toured Pakistan. The instances were the same. As like David Hussey, Inzy also handled the ball in the same manner and was given "out" by the same umpire "Simon Taufel" without consulting the THIRD UMPIRE. what a pity!!!!
Take a Sneak Look at the video down here :
The same umpire has forgotten the rules which he used just 6 years back. That's the kind of umpiring going on against Indians at any given time. One should also remember that the same Indians have sacked one of the most renowned umpire "Steve Buckner" (known for his beautiful umpiring except for India). I hope the ICC which takes severe actions against teams(especially India) for slow Bowling Rates per hour must take actions against umpires too in a stringent manner in order to avoid such a thing. Even one could also cannot forget the 5-balls per over in the same series which was unchecked by the ICC even it was published in many leading newspapers. Such is the umpiring and the ICC "DUMB" AGAINST  Indians Especially in Australia.

GATE Exam! :D

Valentine's Day wishes to all readers! :)
Well well... I am stopping with the greeting. (Excuse me from that topic! :D )
GATE exam happened on February 12th (Offline exams) this year and it seems there's a record 7.8 lakh people took GATE this year! Quite a phenomenal number that! Much of the number is due to the consideration of GATE score for recruitment in public sector companies. Not all people want to do the so-called (and of course, dreaded) 'higher studies'! :)
B.Tech itself was cumbersome! No need to say anything about M.Tech! 2 more years of the same branch??? No way!
I also wrote GATE. No kidding, Yes, I really wrote.
I went to the Exam Centre armed with 2 Black pens, 2 Blue pens, a pencil, a calculator and an eraser. For ID proof, my college Id. Of course, my mobile phone too! THAT WAS ALL! I was really amazed to see so much people preparing even at 8.30 AM (the exam starts at 9AM)! Some of them had come with parents. They had food and water bottles for their 'children' - I wondered if they were going for a wrestling match! :D
Embarrassing, anyway, I walked straight up and found out my exam hall. One good thing about being a chess player is that, we find a chess player wherever we go. (Atleast one person! No escape!) Here too, I found my friend Haribalu eagerly checking the notice board!
Coming to the main part, I went to my exam hall at around 8.45 AM. As a surprise, the invigilator was also known to me - she was a chess player's mother!
"Wherever we go, I don't know if Hutch and Vodafone follow; definitely Chess follows!"
As bad luck (or good luck) would have it, I was seated in the very first bench! Oh my god, the very thought of she looking at my answering made me laugh inside! I knew very well... I could answer only the last ten questions. (We prepared in VIT two days back with a GATE mock question paper. Nothing much to say, the mock paper humbled me! :D)
One bad thing about GATE exam compared to SRM Semester exams is that, we cannot leave the hall until the exam gets over. This meant that I had to sit in the same place for 3 hours...
1st 30 minutes - I solved the aptitude and English questions - fairly easy.
I looked at my watch - 9.30 AM :( 150 minutes remained... Fate - cell phones are not allowed. My thoughts went to VIT where the South Zone Inter Universities was still going on. This is the worst thing that happened in the exam hall, I will tell you why - I dozed off at 9.40! Due to 4 years of sleeping experience in SRM, I knew perfectly how to sleep in a classroom but this was different. Unconsciously, I shaded another bubble with 'black ink ball point pen' (this was the only color allowed in GATE)! To my horror, I found that I had already answered that question!
"தூக்கம் கலைந்தது!" (I woke up!)
"The forehead-sweating feeling when you wake up suddenly after a sleep-in-sitting-position is very annoying! You get scared if something has gone wrong - you look around to see if someone caught you sleeping; look what others are doing and later... realize that everything is fine!"
The instructions in GATE paper read something like this ... "Use only black ink ball point pen since it cannot be erased. Hence the candidate must shade the bubbles carefully"
Yeah... Right! They cannot be erased I thought. Then my thoughts went back to something I read when I was young... er... a school-goer!
"In the confrontation between the stream and the rock, the stream always wins...
Not through strength, but through persistence!"
What an Idea! :)

I took out the eraser and started erasing. Initially it did not make any difference. I looked at my watch. "Hell with it, I said to myself. I will keep erasing - I have so much time all the same"! I continued erasing. After ten minutes, some part of the bubble disappeared. And with it, some portion of the top layer of the extra thick ORS sheet. (The usual shading sheet, nothing alien). I continued with the most productive work I did in the exam. After 25 minutes, the whole bubble was erased. I was very very happy at what I had done. Now the question had only one answer. (The IIT people got it wrong - it can be erased! Yaar kitta!!! Tamizhan da!)
Thoroughly elated at my endeavour, I finally gained some motivation to read the technical questions. And how well I did, I managed to answer a few questions and make some intelligent guesses for the others. I also mustered enough tolerance to stop myself from shading answers for all questions - there is negative marking in GATE! I had answered 49 questions out of 65!
And then I answered two more. I crossed 50 and kept my answer count at 51!
There was still some 30 minutes left and I had to sit idle. There was nothing else left for me to do. The other questions were unanswerable to my standards. My knowledge in CS & IT is very limited. As one significant person enlightened me recently, I just "Did what made me happy and left the rest to God!"

p.s. These stunts are performed by professionals. Don't try this in any competitive exam! Prepare in advance!

Phir melinge!

Plastic Roads!!!

Hi Guys...! First of all i would like to convey my warm welcome - the month of LOVE     - February 2012 .

The newly formed Corporation of Chennai is implementing many innovative projects for the welfare and well being of the people in the city. Also i have read in the newspapers about expanding the chennai city's area by 8 times nearly and hence to implement overall development of the districts and suburbs surrounding Chennai Main city. Recently i also got a tip about laying plastic roads in and around city streets and main roads. The main reason cited here for laying such type of roads is that life of the roads are declining very swiftly during the rainy seasons. Also another problem the city is facing is scarcity of dumpyard to dump the enormous amount of biodegradable products and non-biodegradable wastes.

Dumped Plastic Wastes along a Water Source making it vulnerable for transmitting Diseases

Although the biodegradable wastes can be easily got rid but it takes some breeding time to get decomposed. Whilst the non-biodegradable wastes wont settle back like the former. But it will be alike the years and wont get decomposed easily. So Chennai City Corporation has decided to use nature of plastics to its advantage. They've obtained to use the waste plastic both from domestic and industries. But could obtain only some 100 tonnes. The requirement of plastic that is projected for laying roads is 800 tonnes. The corporation bodies have planned to get these required plastic waste from the people of city. And they've apparently planned to give away to the people 20rupees per kilogram of plastic waste. For doing this the corporation are going to engage themselves in creating awareness in this regard and hence the chennai city roads would be proper and its lifetime would be greatly increased and hence improper road facilities would be eliminated in the near future.
Imagine this:->
Our kids have a fight on parking their cycles or vehicles in the road with our neighbour and says during this fight "ITHU ENGA APPAN POTTA ROAD" (means This is my Dad's own road)

Anyhow our corporation is also getting innovative ideas and steps to implement them:-)

Happy to hear those innovatives and initiatives, but we people want them to be completed successfully without being shelved
